SPEECH THERAPY

Some Indicators that a child may benefit from speech therapy include:


  • Problems producing speech sounds.
  • Delays in using expressive language
  • Feeding or swallowing problems
  • Reduction in receptive language – Difficulty understanding everyday conversation
  • Children work directly with a speech language pathologist (SLP) in a one-on-one setting in the home environment

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Some Indicators that a child may benefit from occupational therapy include:


  • Sensory Processing issues – Children who display aggressive behavior, or can’t sit still.  These children may have been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, or other behavioral issues.
  • Fine Motor Delays – including difficulty operating snaps or zippers, tying shoes, and using crayons or pencils.
  • Visual Perceptual Issues
  • Children work directly with an OT in a one-on-one setting in the home environment.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Some Indicators that a child may benefit from physical therapy include:


  • Gross Motor Delays
  • Orthopedic Problems
  • Balance issues that affect walking, running, and display poor coordination.
  • Developmental delays
  • Children work directly with the PT in a one-on-one setting in the home environment.
